Section 7.  Continued

INTERNAL BATTERY CARE

Your battery is a gel, suspended cell battery, which does not require you to drain it completely before recharging. The battery will last the longest if you can recharge the unit after every treatment. The more you recharge the battery, the longer it will last. When the battery is new, the DURA-NEB 3000 will deliver up to 18 treatments when nebulizing 2.5 mls of medication using a PARI LC Jet Plus Nebulizer. As time goes by, the battery capacity will diminish. The life of the battery is affected by how often you recharge it and how long you wait before recharging. The optimum care for the battery is to recharge it every day or night.

2. Gently lift up loose end of grey trim to expose battery access door (Fig. D-6).

3. Insert flat screwdriver, coin, spoon handle, or flat object into door notch (Fig. D-7).
